#3 GHIBLI MUSEUM, MITAKA (Megumu)

Hi. I want to introduse GHIBLI MUSEUM, MITAKA. I have visited there twice times. It is the art museum of the GHIBLI which is famous for "Tonari no Totoro" and "Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi". This is its site. Its museum is in Mitaka, Tokyo. We can watch original pictures of movies and the process of movies in this museum. Furthermore, there are the big stuffed toy of "the cat bus" and the model of "the robot soldier".

This museum needs a reservation until the day before to enter it. This museum's ticket price is 1000 Japanese yen per a adult. The nearest station is Mitaka Station. It is 20 minutes at high speed of JR Chuo Line to Mitaka Station from Shinjuku Station. You walk GHIBLI MUSEUM, MITAKA about 15 minutes from the JR Mitaka Station south exit. If you use community bus from the Mitaka Station south exit, it is about 5 minutes. This museum is so fantastic! I recommend here very very much!

Blog#3: Trick art museum (Maho)

I have visited Trick museum in Mt. Takao. It was opened in 1996. This is its site. There are a lot of trick arts. There is really fun!

This photo is one of them. Its name is Ames' room. Our height are strange! Please go there and make sure of its mechanism by yourself! Like this, we can enjoy with a lot of trick arts. Trick art museum is different from other museums. We can take the phots, touch the works and enjoy with loud voice and our bodies. Please visit there! 

Blog#3: Kokuritsushin museum (Yuka)

I will introduce Kokuritsushin museum （国立新美術館）. This is museum in Roppongi.  This museum open in 2007. I was impressed the surrealism exhibition in this museum two years ago. If you don't know surrealism, please look at this page. Most famous artist of surrealism is Dali. When I looked at surrealism paintings, I feel strange. Surrealism paintings are very mysterious.

Now,  Kokuritsushin museum open the lady and unicorn exhibition!!  This is very wonderful paintings on tapestries in France. I have not gone it yet. But I want to go at no distant date.

Hi, I am Ryoh.
Today, I review Nezu-Museum in Omote-Sandou, Tokyo. Nezu-Museum was born in 1941. This museum was made of  Kiichiro Nezu's artistic collection. There are many beautiful works of art.
Among all those works, I love "Irises" the best! In Japanese, "燕子花図屏風 ". This is pair of six fold screens, color on gold-foiled paper, and made by Ogata Korin. He is very famous artist in Edo period. How gorgeous it is!

 

Now, ceramic art exhibition is held  here. I also like ceramics, so I want to go and enjoy this.

Blog#3: Mori art museum (Kana)

Hi, this is Kana.
I'll tell you about Mori art museum. I visited there last month with the members of Tokyo reading circle, I belong to. This museum is in Mori tower of Roppongi. It is  a site. And to my surprise, it is on the 52nd floor! It is very high, but I can go to the 52nd floor by elevator so I can't see outside. I don't feel afraid.

I like this museum. Because various  modern art works  are exhibited. And not only paintings and sculptures but also works which made with computer are exhibited, too.  Look at the picture.

 
 This work is "LOVE+1+1"(Etsuko Yakushimaru + Daito Manabe + Motoi Ishibashi + Kaoru Sugano). You say something Word to this machine, it create a song by voice analytical system　(in Japanese, 音声解析システム）and artificial intelligence system (in Japanese, 人口知能システム. It is interesting!

This is my favorite work. Its title is "Love is Calling" (Yayoi Kusama).This room is enclosed by mirrors. And colorful and polka dots objects are displayed at ceiling and floor. This object is big. I feel as if I entered this work. It is strange and interesting.

I want to recommend this museum to you. Because you can enjoy the view of outside.

Especially, the night view is good. You can see Tokyo tower, Tokyo skytree, Rainbow Bridge and so on.

Lastly, I like visiting museums. Because I can let the work pass and can see  various worlds. Also, I receive inspiration from them.

Blog#2:My dormitory (Ryoh)

Hi, I am Ryoh.

I have been living in “Wakei-juku”, a boys' dormitory, for 4 years. “Wakei-juku” is near to Waseda University, and near to Gakushuin, too. There are about 600 boys in the dormitory. And, there are many kinds of university students. For example, Waseda Uni., Tokyo Uni., Rikkyo Uni., Meiji Uni., and so on! So, I have many friends that other college student.

"Wakei-juku" was founded in 1955. Now, it is 60 anniversary!

There are many events in this dormitory.

In April, a welcome party for new students.

In May, a performing a play on the stage.

In June, a hiking all night.

In September and October,  a big sports day.

In January, a rice cake party.

Blog#2: Flowery (Yuka)

 Recently, I have been playing Flowery. It is the video game software for PlayStation3. This is sold on the network store, PlayStation Store. The price of this game is 800 yen. It is very low-priced!! In this game, we operate petals. At first, it is only a petal. As this petal touch the buds in the screen, the buds bloom and petals in the screen are increased. As many flowers bloom, landscape is colorful. This game can be played freedom. It isn't time limit and game over in this game.  This game is very easy to play. Everyone can play this game.

When I play this game, I relax and reduce stress. There are not people and languages in this game. There are only flowers and some inorganic matters.  The landscape in the game is very beautiful. So I think I am the land of dream when I play the game. I can forget disgusting things in the real world. The music of the game is beautiful too. Please play the game if you are tired in real world. You will be happy!!

blog#2:earring (Kana)

I have been wearing earrings every day.

 These earrings are different from other earrings. Parts of putting on are springs and so my ears feel no pain even if I wear them many hours. Also, other earrings made my ears red because of being delicate skin, however, these earrings don't. I want another color too.

Blog#2: My favorite drink (Maho)

I have been drinking Kochakaden recently. I like tea with milk and  think Kochakaden is the best of all tea with milk. It has many kinds of tea. This is its site. I like especially nomal  tea with milk and flavor of  a cherry blossom.

It is produced by Coca Cola and was on sale in 1992. Its name is parodied Fushikaden. The price is 158 yen.  It is used 100 percent of domestic milk, fresh cream made in Hokkaido and high grown tea leaf.

#2 : Ice cream (Megumu)

Hi.I'm Megumu.
June already came. Time is so fast! So, it became gradually hot.  Recentry, I have been eating ice cream. Its name is CAFFE FRAPPE. Sherbet of the coffee taste and sherbet of the milk taste are in this ice and I mixed them and ate. It's very delicious. You can buy it in Seven Eleven in Gakushuin. Please eat if you are interested in. And please tell me your recommended ice cream.

Blog#2: BBQ Kyoka)

Hello, everyone ! Suddenly, do everybody like a BBQ?
I did BBQ yesterday. I did it in group of the circle at Futago Tamagawa.
There were a lot of other group , too and it was very lively . At the temperature that it was not too hot, and was comfortable, very close on BBQ day.
I burnt (wrong word) not only meat and vegetables but also  maeshmallow and ate a lot . And after having eaten generally, we played in a river and played a lawn.
Look! We damaged a stone and wrote our name!

 It became the good  memory of the summer beginning! All of you, please BBQ this summer, too!
